Pricing
We do it all, for every type of traveler or travel organizer, because we believe in the right to travel.
We'll watch any flight or hotel booking and get you the price you're entitled to, all the way up until the moment you leave.
We even automate refunds when we can, and rebook rooms and flights for you when that's the best way to get you the best price.
Gadabout doesn't get paid a cent until you do.
Here's how the money works. We watch every booking you send us against the live price for the same trip. When the price falls far enough to be worth claiming, we verify it against the airline's or hotel's own prices, and then we recover the difference, with your permission, through the channels the airline or hotel already offers.
Our fee is a share of what actually lands in your account, and we charge it only after the refund or credit has posted. With AutoAssist on, you don't lift a finger: we act as your authorized representative, keep you on the same flights, and ask you before any rebooking or cancellation.
For Travelers
- Who it's for
- Anyone who books their own flights and hotels and would rather not check prices every day.
- What we do
- We watch each booking you forward to us, we tell you the moment a lower price is real, and we hand you a one-click claim with the script and the math already done. On a growing number of airlines, AutoAssist even files the claim for you.
- What it costs
- When we recover cash, we keep 20% of the refund and you keep the rest. When we recover an airline credit, we keep 15% of its value, because a credit is worth a little less to you than cash. If you'd like us to turn a credit into cash where the airline allows it, we charge a flat $15 for that conversion, and only once the cash has posted.
- What it never costs
- There's no subscription, no fee for watching, and no charge when a price doesn't move. If we don't recover anything, you don't pay anything.

For the Real Gadabouts
- Who it's for
- Travelers who fly premium, travel often, or book for a household, where a single recovery can run from $500 to $4,000.
- What we do
- Everything above, plus the fastest path on every recovery: AutoAssist on by default for every trip, credit-to-cash conversion handled for you, and first priority when our team steps in by hand.
- What it costs
- Pro is $79 a year. In return, our share of every recovery falls to a flat 10%, whether the airline pays cash or credit, and the $15 conversion fee is included. On one $2,400 business-class recovery, Pro keeps $240 more in your pocket than the standard plan. On four smaller $200 cash refunds, Pro has already paid for itself. If your travel comes in bursts, Pro Monthly is $9 a month with the same flat 10%.
- What it never costs
- Pro doesn't charge per trip or per traveler, and the flat 10% is still charged only after the money posts.

For Travel Arrangers
- Who it's for
- Executive assistants, travel agents and managers, and anyone who books for a team, a family, or a client list.
- What we do
- We watch every traveler's bookings from one dashboard, we group each party's tickets so the whole trip moves together, and we send claims to the right person for a yes.
- What it costs
- Team is $49 a month and watches about 25 trips at a time, for the person who books everyone else's travel. Business is $249 a month and watches about 100, for a whole department's travel in one place. On both plans that monthly price is the most you'll ever pay us: recoveries carry no commission, and AutoAssist is included for every traveler. Agencies watching more than that get a quote from us rather than a list price.
- What it never costs
- There's no charge for adding a traveler, and no fee on a booking we didn't recover money for.

Every plan charges the same way: after the refund or credit has posted, never before, and never without your permission.
Billing details are added at signup through Stripe, and your card isn't charged until we find and refund you money.
